Spring Break Party Group Drinks - Posted: March 14th, 2009

Wherever you decide to live it up during spring break, nothing beats putting your own delicious drinks together when it’s time to party. Here are a couple of big-time drink recipes that should serve a big crowd - whether you’re having people over while your parents are away or crashing on a rented house in a beach town somewhere.
Lazy Vodka
This is for the lazy cocktail maker, who’d rather be partying than putting the drinks together. It’s easy, serves a lot and packs a mean punch. Keep a stock of the ingredients and just keep making it when the stuff runs out - believe me, it will.
To make a 40-serving punch bowl of this drink, put about 500 ml of raspberry vodka, two liters of lemon-lime soda and two 46 ounce cans of pineapple juice. If you can get fresh mint, tear up three cups of it into the punch and garnish with lime slices.
Spring Break Margaritas
This one’s a classic and tries to stay as true to the original. Guaranteed to sauce up your guests and liven up the party.
First, cook up a sugar syrup by melting two cups of white sugar on two cups of water over heat. If you’re planning to serve this drink throughout the night, I suggest making a lot of sugar syrup.
To make approximately 20 servings of Spring Break Margaritas, simply put together six cups of tequila, 2.5 cups of triple sec, 2.5 cups of lime juice, 2.5 cups of lemon juice and two cups of sugar syrup. Mix it a little then serve with tons of ice and plenty of lime slices for garnish.
