The Cardinal Punch For Arizona Supporters On Superbowl Weekend - Posted: January 29th, 2009

Fans of the Arizona Cardinals should enjoy the Cardinal Punch when they serve it during this upcoming Superbowl weekend. The original version of this fruity drink can be made for the kids (no alcohol) while the adults in the household will probably appreciate our alcohol-infused variation.
Non-Alcoholic Cardinal Punch
The original Cardinal Punch is a time-tested recipe that works great for almost any occasion where you need an interesting-looking mocktail with great taste. Serve this along with your backyard barbecue and you’ll guarantee a fun time for the entire family.
To make it, pour one liter of cranberry juice, one liter of ginger ale, 300 ml of orange juice and 500 ml of lemon juice into a bowl. Add ice cubes and garnish with slices of lemon and orange.
Alcoholic Cardinal Punch
The alcoholic version of this drink isn’t as fruity and should prove a little more complicated to make but it retains the same good looks (in a darker shade) and delicious taste. To make it, mix half a cup of sugar with the juice from 10 freshly-squeezed lemons. Pour it into a bowl and add ice. Add in 10 cups of red wine, six ounces of champagne, two cups of brandy, two cups of white run, half a cup of Sweet Vermouth and three cups of club soda. This is best served in a wine glass (and looks like red wine for the most part) although I’d probably recommend sturdier glasses for your Superbowl party.
